Gratitude is very important in a professional role. Often times being in a professional position you will often times find yourself needing to show empathy to other people, along with being understanding, and overall being joyful in happy. Gratitude can be shown in many ways. In the health care setting gratitude can be shown by thanking a CNA, or thanking a nurse by helping them out when they helped you out. Gratitude can also shown by patients when they thank or do something nice for their care giver. A care teamworking together can show gratitude by just listening to other peoples idea and communicating.
Self-care to me means, means helping yourself when you start realizing that maybe your mental health is the greatest, or just relaxing that you haven’t taken care of yourself a lot. You can’t take care of others unless you take care of yourself. For me selfcare can look very different, each time I do it. I don’t really like staying home unless I am very tired. Normally when I am extremely tired, I need to do some selfcare. For me self-care can be going to Walmart, out to dinner, or hanging out with family and friends and going on adventures.
